LASCON X Project

X Latin American School on Computational Neuroscience

I participated in the X edition of LASCON, a traditional summer school held in Brazil that aims to provide high-level training in computational neuroscience to Latin American students. In addition to the lectures, students were required to develop a project to be presented at the end of the program.

Together with other students, we worked on reproducing the seminal paper by Vogels et al. 2011 using NEST simulator. Through this project, we developed a deeper intuition about inhibitory plasticity and gained practical experience working with NEST.

By the end of the program, we successfully reproduced the two main figures from the original study, and we aim to further develop this work into a full paper.
